One of the best parts of the Wedding Planning journey is the tasting.

Here is a taste of what to expect and how to get the best out of it:

🫒 Most caterers invite you to select 2 dishes per course for the tasting menu. Your selection should be confirmed 14 days prior to the tasting.

🍷 Wine pairing: the alchemy of wine and food is an art and you will be guided by a sommelier to help you with the wine selection.

🖊️ Take pictures and notes during the tasting. This will strengthen your feedback so you don't forget any details when you're looking back on what could feel like endless options.

⏱️ A tasting usually takes about 2 to 3 hours and is often complimentary for you as a couple. In case other guests will join you, this may have an additional cost.

We rather look for the fairness and transparency when choosing our vendors. A fair price isn't just a number but a reflection of the invaluable experience, skills and quality (including the gear) that vendors bring to the table.

Trusted vendors are those vendors who provide a fair price for the quality of the service they offer. They don't include unnecessary discount buffers or markups. Their transparency shines through as they wholeheartedly understand and communicate the true worth of their services, ensuring a genuine and straightforward partnership.

You can think of:

➡️ Providing options for accommodation close to the venue and in several price ranges for guests to choose from.

➡️ Arrange transport. Remember that this is the first and last impression on your wedding day. You don't want your guests having trouble getting to the venue or going back to their hotel by the end of the wedding day.

➡️ Shades, refreshments & fans: summer in Portugal can be seriously hot. Make sure you provide enough shades, refreshment (bottles of water during the ceremony) and fans - it is not just a fancy favour but a life-saver 😅

➡️ Curate welcome packs with local insights

➡️ Stationery is not only a part of the decoration, it is a thoughtful way to let your guests know what they can expect (ceremony program), it can help streamline the transition from cocktail to dinner (seating chart and place cards) and it can help guests choose their favorite drink from the often extensive bar menu.
