Frequently Asked Questions

Do you allow third party catering service?

Pousada Mosteiro Amares provides in-house catering & bar services. It is not allowed to contract a third party catering service.

Do you provide furniture?

Round tables and chairs of a specific model are provided as part of the package. Should you prefer different models for tables or chairs, these have to be arranged for through separate rental services. The same applies to outdoor lighting and/or heaters, which are not standard included.

Do you require a full buy-out and if so, for how many nights minimum?

A full buyout is not mandatory; however, it does affect the time restrictions of the event. Without exclusivity, events are required to conclude by 23:30. With a full buyout of all 32 rooms, there are no sound restrictions for indoor festivities

Can we hire our own vendors?

You have the liberty to engage vendors of your choice for all aspects of the event planning, with the exception of the catering service.
