Atelier 23 is a Lisbon-based menswear atelier specialising in made-to-measure suits and tuxedos for grooms who want something personal, beautifully made, and genuinely connected to Portugal.
What we particularly like about Atelier 23 is that the craftsmanship is local. While the fabrics are sourced from some of the finest mills in England and Italy, each garment is crafted in Serra da Estrela by experienced Portuguese master tailors.
The experience is also very well suited to destination weddings. The process is planned around the groom’s visits to Lisbon, starting with a personal consultation and measurements, followed by a fitting and final collection. This makes it entirely possible to have a truly made-to-measure suit created in Portugal without adding unnecessary complexity to the wedding preparations.
For grooms who appreciate quality, craftsmanship and a personal experience, Atelier 23 offers a lovely way to make Portugal part of what they wear, too.
